Terms of Use

Chicken Tender, Inc  •  Effective September 29, 2026

Offers come from the restaurant

A coupon in the app is the restaurant’s offer. The restaurant sets its terms and is the one who honors it.

Codes are yours alone

A code you claim is tied to your install. It has no cash value and can’t be sold or transferred.

Still no account

Nothing here changes what we collect. Our Privacy Policy covers that.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Chicken Tender, Inc (“Chicken Tender”, “we”, “us”) about the Chicken Tender™ app (the “app”). By using the app, or by claiming an offer in it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Restaurants that list on Chicken Tender agree to separate terms of their own at Chicken Tender for Merchants. These Terms are for people using the app.

01Using the app

  • Who can use it. The app is offered in the United States. You must be at least 16 years old to use it.
  • Personal use. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • No account. The app has no accounts. It identifies your install by a random identifier, described in our Privacy Policy. Your favorites and any codes you claim are held against that identifier, so anyone using your phone can see and use them.
  • It’s free. The app costs nothing and has no in-app purchases.

02Restaurant information

Restaurant listings — names, addresses, hours, photos, menus, ratings and popular times — come from restaurants themselves, from data providers we license, and from public sources. We work to keep them accurate, but restaurants change faster than any catalog. Hours may be out of date, a menu item may no longer be served, and a listing may have closed. Please check with the restaurant before you rely on anything that matters to you, such as allergens, prices or whether it is open.

If you spot something wrong, use Report a problem on the restaurant’s details in the app.

03Offers and coupons

Some restaurants show an offer on their card, such as a percentage off or a free item. You can claim an offer in the app to receive a code that you show to the restaurant’s staff.

The offer is the restaurant’s

  • The restaurant makes the offer and honors it. Chicken Tender shows the offer and issues the code, but we are not the seller and not a party to your purchase. Restaurants agree with us to honor the offers they publish, but if a restaurant does not, we cannot compel it to or provide the discount ourselves.
  • The restaurant’s terms apply. Any terms shown with the offer — such as dine-in only, a minimum spend, or one per customer — are part of it. Offers may also be limited to certain days or times, and the restaurant may decline a code outside them.
  • Void where prohibited. An offer does not apply where the law prohibits or restricts it, including to alcohol where discounts on it are not allowed.

Your code

  • Show it, don’t type it. A code is shown to staff on your screen. It is not a promo code for a register or for online ordering.
  • It’s valid until the date shown. A code is good until the expiry shown with it in the app. If the restaurant later changes or stops the offer, a code you already hold keeps the wording and expiry it was issued with.
  • It’s only for you. A code is tied to your install. It may not be sold, traded, transferred or published.
  • It has no cash value. A code cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or change, except where the law requires it. It does not cover tax or gratuity unless the offer says so.
  • One use. Each code can be used once. There is a limit on how many unused codes you can hold at a time, and you can give one back in the app at any time.
  • Lost codes. If a code is lost — for example because you delete the app without a backup to restore from — we may not be able to recover it.

What we may do

We may refuse to issue a code, or cancel one, if we believe it was obtained through automation, tampering, fraud or abuse, or if it was issued in error. We may change, pause or stop showing offers in the app at any time. If a restaurant won’t honor a code you hold, please tell us — we will follow up with the restaurant, but we can’t promise an outcome.

04Your content

You own what you write and add in the app — your display name and photo, and the notes and menu items on your favorites. You give us permission to store it and show it back to you, and, for your name and photo, to send them over Bluetooth to the players in your game, as our Privacy Policy describes. Please don’t add anything unlawful, or anything that isn’t yours to share. Your name and photo are seen by the people you play with, so keep them appropriate for that.

05Things you may not do

  • Access the app’s services by any means other than the app itself, or automate, script or scrape them.
  • Tamper with, reverse engineer or circumvent the app’s security, including the checks that confirm a genuine copy of the app.
  • Create, collect, copy, share or sell codes other than for your own use as described above.
  • Interfere with other players’ games, or send misleading reports about restaurants.
  • Use the app in a way that breaks the law.

06Other services and links

The app links to services run by others — restaurants’ own websites, menus, ordering and reservation pages, your maps app and your phone dialer — and outside the United States it may show places from Apple Maps. Those services are not ours, their own terms and policies govern them, and we are not responsible for them.

07Our name and our app

The app, its design, our restaurant catalog, and the Chicken Tender™ name, wordmark and flame logo belong to Chicken Tender, Inc or our licensors. We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app as these Terms allow. How our name and logo may be used is set out on our Brand & Logo Use page.

08Disclaimers

The app, its restaurant information and the offers in it are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that restaurant information is accurate or complete, or that a restaurant will honor an offer. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Chicken Tender, Inc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the app, from a restaurant you found or visited through it, or from an offer a restaurant did or did not honor. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10The App Store and Google Play

These Terms are between you and Chicken Tender, Inc, not Apple or Google, and we alone are responsible for the app. The terms of the store you downloaded it from also apply; if you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these Terms. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11Ending and changes

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access to the app’s services, or cancel codes you hold, if you break these Terms. We may change the app, or stop offering it, at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the effective date at the top. Please check back occasionally. By continuing to use the app, or claiming an offer in it, after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

13Everything else

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
